About Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC)

The Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) is an annual event organized in India by the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA), a federation consisting of five professional pharmaceutical bodies: the Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Hospital Pharmacists' Association (IHPA), and All India Drugs Control Officers' Confederation (AIDCOC). This notable gathering united industry leaders, thought leaders, and experts to partake in insightful discussions regarding the challenges and solutions in achieving the Pharma Vision 2030.

IPCA, the leading organization representing Indian pharmacists, acts as a unified voice for professionals operating in a wide range of domains. This encompasses community pharmacists, hospital pharmacists, individuals involved in various industry roles such as production, research and development, quality assurance, marketing, regulatory affairs, as well as those engaged in academia and specialized fields. IPCA effectively brings together and advocates for the interests of pharmacists across these diverse capacities and areas of expertise.

The annual conference provides a valuable platform for professionals in the pharmacy field to share innovative ideas and foster collaboration. It particularly focuses on empowering women and enhancing their leadership role within the industry. The Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) serves as a forum for in-depth discussions on the challenges faced by the pharmacy profession, and the organizing association passes resolutions to address these issues. These resolutions are subsequently forwarded to the relevant authorities for further review and consideration.
